Maka 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2007 Way easier: Go to My Computer, open up the disk drive that represents your iPod. Then under Folder Options, change the setting to Show Hidden Files. From there, your songs should be in a music folder. Their names won't be correct, but their tags should be.

Allsmokenopancake 0 Report post Posted July 23, 2007 http://www.kennettnet.co.uk/musicrescue/you don't have to buy it, however, after each 50 songs, it will ask you if you want to register, to buy, click no, and it will do another 50, ask again, click no, etc etc. This will keep the song title, artwork, album, rating etc etc.The only thing it does not transfer is playlists, so you will have to do them again.I used it when going from my old computer to new laptop, and it worked great for me. It can be a pain, though, if you don't buy it since the transfer stops every 50 songs. That's a problem when you, say, want to transfer 2000+ songs and leave it overnight... patr0510 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2007 Please do not waste your time with these freeware programs as I did. Tried two different ones, and neither worked. There's an alot easier way, that just uses folder options. Follow this: http://www.playlistmag.com/help/2005/01/2waystreet/

Thockey17 1 Report post Posted August 5, 2007 Dont bother copying all your music back to the computer. Just play it through Podplayer, and save yourself the hdd space.
