Hockey Experts Grand Opening

I was in Vaughan yesterday and stumbled upon two new hockey stores opening soon that I'd never seen. The first was in Vaughan Mills Mall and was called Hockey Life. It says it's the largest Canadian hockey superstore. Don't know when it opens but I'm looking forward to it. The other was near Colossus and it's called Hockey Experts. I just went on their site online, www.hockeyexperts.ca, and it says that they're opening July 27th, tomorrow. I browsed the site and it also had something about a free $200 gift certificate for being one of the first 25 people that show up at the store before 9AM wearing full hockey equipment. I'm thinking about doing this as I sure do need a pair of new gloves. Does anyone else know about either of these stores? How early do you think I'd have to show up in order to get the gift certificate?

Oh and Russel Peters was at Colossus and I sat two seats away from him in I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. Everyone in Toronto views this guy as a total celebrity, while probably no one outside of Ontario and even fewer outside of Canada have even heard of.

I was at Hockey Experts in Mississauga last Saturday, I posted pictures in another thread. Grand opening is tomorrow and I think the CCM Vector 10.0 is going on sale for $89.99, I'm not sure what else is on sale.

I'm tired of Russel Peters' comedy. He's been reusing the same jokes for a long time.

Yes, I'm in Brampton and the flyer was in my local newpaper this week. They have some good deals on but a lot of their equipment is on par with most of the major hockey shops in my area. Still it's worth going out for a look and I may hop over later today, it's just down the road from me.

I'm going to buy a Team Canada Replica jersey today, they're on sale for $69.99 which is really good. It doesn't look like much is on sale in the flyer, they're just advertising the store and the wide selection they have.

i just got home,i was at the Mississauga one at 930 last night i was #23 my bro 24, and my buddy 25... 400 bucks for me one night is not bad,and like 6 people after us got the 200 too and the rest of the people got 20 dollar gift cards,

Same man, I was number 24 and my buddy was 25 at the Vaughan store. For a while we weren't sure if we'd be first 25 but luckily we were, I arrived at 12. Surprisingly no one thought to start a nice big road hockey game but I heard one went on at the Mississauga location. One night's lost sleep for a pair of RBK 9KN gloves ain't too shabby.

yeah, they gave out numbers to the first 25 so there wouldn't be confusion and people trying to cut in line. it was good that they did so we knew that we weren't staying for nothing, and that allowed everyone to wander a bit and start a big game,

We have been using a Blackstone Turbo since the spring. It is an awesome machine. The only problem is now I can hear people talking to me when I sharpen!

I was never able to get anything after all, the pants I want (Vapor XX) aren't included in the sale. So now I still need one more item to buy, no idea what I should get. I was going to get elbow, shoulder, pants but gotta think of something else instead of pants.

I was thinking of taking a weekend trip to Toronto this summer from Buffalo (the fiancee wants to shop). This looks like it might be a fun little side trip. If she gets to shop for clothing, I should get to shop for some gear ;)
