I was at the flames oilers game tonight and i noticed that Souray had an S17. Iginla was also using the new vector skates, kinda freaked me out when i saw that.

That stick is, 100%, without a doubt, the real deal. Easton is releasing the stick soon in less than 60 days. They are no longer going to extreme measures to be secretive about it.

Unless it gets delayed in production like the 9ko did. Easton has been making sticks a lot longer than RBK so probably not.

if the team has a deal with Easton, its not that hard. When I played juniors we got all our stuff from easton, and we got brand new sticks about a month before they hit retail

some junior players have agents which can usually hook them up with some gear if they got the right contacts

Hmmm. That's a good question. I don't remember hearing about it. I'll have to look into it.

I'm Assuming it's Not there, cuz if it were, I'm SURE Easton would have that Plastered all over the catalog and the stick. But like I mentioned, they might be saving it for Special Edition or next years model, Just in case they can't come up with any better ideas to copy.

I'm not badmouthing the kid, but we've done a lot to get to the position that we are in. Obviously there are a lot of things that I find out that I cannot speak about, and it ended up that way because we used to force their hand when we got exclusive pics.

I know some people who know those kids, and what I hear about the direction they want their site to go in, simply isn't going to work. Hell, if we choose not to do it, what makes you think they can make it work?

Now that we've been a respected name when it comes to stuff like this, we have worked out agreements with all manufacturers. When the time is right, we can talk about the product, and we're always ahead anyway...which is why I waited til we got the training camp pictures out there.

Sometimes I wish we didn't know about things too far ahead. After Jimmy let slide back in the summer that a new Stealth type stick was on the horizon I've been chomping at the bit. Waiting to see what it feels like once I see one in person is the only thing holding me back from my customized One90.
