I think I remember now. I remember the Jr. Yzerman being the same as the current sakic and the Jr. Shanahan's were the big hook and they were backwards when it went to senior.

I don't ever recall that. The jr Yzerman has always been a fairly mild and very usable curve, at least in the wood blades.

I'm looking forward to trying out the demo stick that just showed up.

Gaborik is the closest you will find the the old Yzerman. It is the same curve with a higher lie....good luck finding one.

got my hand on a cleary pro stock at one goal. i really noticed no difference in weight but it did feel alot more balanced then my cnt. hopefully i can find a way to get my hands on one soon.

just an update...they had them in 2 days ago at one of the stores by me...but only in junior...REALLLLY tempted to flex one....but i'm sure they wouldn't have liked that very much. You can really see the taper.

and on another note...Parise is back to his Sl, and Elias was using an S17. (Let's hope it scores goals for him :lol: :lol: )

Other stores by Niagara Falls have been getting them in. They had one in a 100 flex Forsberg right. I was pissed( because i shoot left) Anywho... i flexed it and held it :D and it was almost sexual B) jk. it had a nice feel to it though.

I would think icewarehouse.com. Really who ever you pay the most for shipping with. BUT if you have a LHS you could get it the same day you pay for it from them.

In NBH's case, your store may have not been a FLD, and would've gotten the sticks a month after the FLDs did. Perks of being a FLD - that's usually with one-off launches.

In this case, everyone is given the same ship date.

Red Bank Armory Ice Complex has them only in juniors and should be getting seniors in sometime this week (according to my friend who is an employee).

K, so i get to work today, use my SE for an hour before i realize the blade is split in two. Grab my Team Canada One90, use it for about 4 hours, then flex it to show a kid how stiff it is, and sure enough, it blows apart. Anyone know where i can find a S17 tomorrow in Vancouver or the lower mainland.
