Bryan Czajka 0 Report post Posted November 27, 2007 Got my XXXX last thursday. Loved the feel. Makes for a quick release, hard shot with little effort. The blade also had a good feel, until the stick broke after three skates.. Had to autograph the blade to "my favorite big black machine, JR "Jerome the Bus" Boucicaut." It now resides on the wall in KVI summit sports as a symbol of my love for him.

Hahaha Czajka and I have a special relationship. It's actually funny - I have a bad back and it isn't easy when you have to sharpen and he's the only dude who's bigger than me and can crack my back. So, you might walk into the store and see us in a clinch.

Hudson14 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2007 hey just got mine yesterday and used it today, i really like it, passes come off really well and my wrist shot feels to snap off better, but my slapshot feels to have lost some speed, and i also noticed its really soft towards the bottom of the stick
markov79 0 Report post Posted December 15, 2007 Ive had it since 3 weeks, used it a dozen times, like the feel but like nbh said, its only good for play makers, wouldent recomend it for d-players that like to slap all the time...overall its holding up for me so far... mack 44 Report post Posted December 15, 2007 Not sure if it's going to have the same issue on the OPS but I broke my XXXX shaft this morning. Piece of crap's less than a month old. Had no noticeable signs of damage and no one's lumberjacked it, then it just snaps on a lazy Zubov slapper I was taking.

budro727 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2008 Hey guys sorry to bring an old topic back, but I didn't feel the need to start a new one. Well, here's my story. I was skating to a puck on the boards and go to get it off the boards and what do you know, my XXXX gets caught between the zamboni doors and player from the other team runs into it and the blade snaps in half. As I looked in the blade I noticed this blue material in it. Anyone know what it is?
