Are you kidding me?

Let's think about this for a minute. Let's say you find a Mission skate box. And you cut off the UPC...does that entitle you to a free stick?

Newsflash - with no receipt, that is the only conclusion Mission can come to.

You figure with any purchase the receipt is proof of payment and the upc is proof that you didn't return it. I wouldn't have given you a free stick either. Go back to your LHS and ask if they can print up an old receipt.

try getting a receipt to them, and they may be understanding of your situation. i've heard good things about Mission's customer service. keep us informed.

dont think that would do anygood cause the promo is over..or do you think they would hanor it?

Here's what you should do:

Call/Email Mission's Customer Service back and ask for the person who sent you the first email telling you that they couldn't honor your request.

Ask him/her if they will still honor the promo if you go back to the LHS and get a copy of your receipt.

That's going to be much easier for you than asking here. This isn't Mission.

Good luck.

Get creative. If they think the receipt could be a fake, use something to back up the timing of the receipt, like a cancelled check or a credit card statement. Mission may accept all that as proof that you purchased the skates within the promotion period.

Remember, always be polite and courteous when talking with them. I have found Mission to be quite understanding and have had them accept warranty returns of sticks well after the warranty period had expired.

It could be that you're not wearing the right size or width. It could also be an issue with your sharpening.

well the ppl at my LHs put my foot into the sizzing thing and told me 10.5D ( i guess i shouldnt of taken there word for it

Like I said, it could be the sharpening. I used to get pain similar to what you're describing after I took my skates off when I went away from my normal sharpener.

You could try having them heat fit again. After 2 months, your foot might have come back in the skate a bit causing the fit to change.

I had this problem with an old pair of Mission Flyweights and never could solve it though. Had to abandon them and go with a different brand. It was a shame because I loved the fit of their inline skates but they didn't use the same mold for the ice skates apparently.

Maybe the usual guy isn't a good sharpener.
