A great Whippy flex

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a good whippy flex and prefer to not go to an intermediate stick. I currently use a Inno 1100 85 flex stick and I don't feel I'm able to flex it enough. I think I could benefit from trying something with a lower flex. I'm 5'8 145 pounds. Shafts and OPS will be fine, and I don't mind hearing about a good intermediate stick as well! Thanks.

I am exactly your size (well, 147 lbs), and I've found that Warrior's Senior 75 flex feels perfect for me.

I'm larger than all of you guys (28 years old, 5'10" 195lbs) and I use a TPS Whip flex. I find that the whip is great for my wrist and snap shots, but I do loose a touch off of my slap shots when compared to a stiffer stick. But since I play center, and basically only use my slap shot to warm up the goalie.....I find that the whip flex is perfect for my style of play.

Which kinds of TPS shafts/OPS come in the whip flex? which one do you recommend? And if you know of a good place that is selling them please tell =)

Pretty much all TPS shafts and ops come in whip ( almost all ? ) I personally favor either the XN10 R2 tapered shaft or the older R2 tapered shaft, or the Adrenaline or XN10 ops.The XN10 R2 shaft has great kick to it and is very light weight. Also with the shafts you have the option to change blades as you wish.As far as where to find em'?, Google TPS shafts and sticks you'll find all the stores ( online and local ) you'll need.

what i did was i hit the ballistik warehouse by me and ordered custom shafts. I prefer the fell of the wooden blades better and the shaft was custom 70 flex on a senior and gripped names and all for only $55 a shaft. Hell of a deal if you ask me! Used them in my tournament this weekend and works like a charm

I didnt know that Warrior made a 75 flex in a Senior stick. Where did you get it from?

Thats funny, because I went to Warriors web page and they state that the only stick with a 75 flex is the MAC DADDY.

I can't remember the last time I went with whatever a company lists on their website. Most places will have sticks at the 75 flex if they have Dolos at all.

I have an Inno 1100 standard shaft in the 440 flex.

Let me say it's the greatest flex I have ever felt in a stick. I wish every company made a flex comparable to the 440.

If anyone knows of any place that has OPS or shafts in 440 let me know as I want to stock up.

I'd like to stock up on that as well :P

What is the sundin curve comparable to in other blade types? The adrenaline is a fused two piece right? I think I asked that already but I need to make sure I can take the blade off :P
