gotta love how sundin is the only person in the pic wearing a leaf jersey. that either tells you alot about how "fans" feel about their team or that most ppl in platinum seats are not fans, or both.

the suits have a lot to learn from hab, flames, and oiler fans

So if you don't spend $90 on a hockey jersey to wear to a game? you aren't considered a fan that supports your favorite team?

He has been using ICMs for years. Roenick and Modano still sport them last time I checked too.

Dude, the people in those seats who you are slagging, paid $500 a pair to watch that game.

PS I was there, and my son had a leaf jersey on; I didn't. You don't think that we are commited fans ? 1 medium beer, an order of chicken fingers, a hot dog and an orange soda cost us $28...trust me, we are commited fans!

I just remember the early 90's and any time earlier when you looked in the crowd and no one wore their favorite players/teams jersey to the games.

Now if you don't where a jersey. . . people think you aren't a loyal fan.

sorta ridiculous IMO

It;s just tape. They talked about it on HNIC lats night. He does it because he believes it is the only part of the stick that touches the puck. I've been doing it for a while now. Think about the way lines are set up on the blade (Heel to toe tape lines) He thinks it gives you better spin improving the velocity of the puck.

I agree. There is an age you reach when you don't need to wear a jersey with someone elses name on it. I think it is 14 or so but I could be sold on 18.

Reminds me of a story;

I wore my MSH jersey to Nashville for a game last year, mine has name and number on it. The chick in line behind me tells me she loves my jersey and asks where i got it. She wanted to know if that's where "Steve" played before he was traded to the Preds.

I'm curious as to what your reply was.
