Hejduk Pro Stock

Recommended Posts

I was just checking out some sticks at my LHS and I noticed a Stealth Hejduk Pro stock, that had a sand paper like texture on the blade. My questions is does he play without tape? I googled some pics and he seems to have tape in the pics i've seen. So my next question would be if he does tape it then why have such a texture? To hold the tape on better? Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a lame newbie question.

It's z-tac, one of the better things Easton has had in the last few years so naturally they canned it on the retails.

His T-Flex Blades were like that, too. I didn´t notice any difference when retaping and playing other than I had to apply some pressure in order to make the tape stick in the first place. It didn´t last longer or anything....must be a pp thing.

So im assuming it still needs to be taped? It would pretty cool to have a blade that doesnt. I would think the puck feel would be better and would roll off the blade more consistent and with more velocity. I wonder why they havent released a textured blade that doesnt need tape.

I saw a Jochen Hecht Pro Stock Dolomite in a Mannheim (GER) Hockeystore and his shaft was Z-Tac'd from A-Z. That was some insane grip. Would.

Old, as in a decade or more ago, Innovative shafts came with that kind of texture, similar to what Easton called the "Shark grip".

Yes it is Z-TAC. I saw this stick in BTM PHX. last week. It has an awesome mid-toe curve but a fairly high lie. Very flexy 80ish.

Yeah I saw it in the BHM Team shop in the Chandler Polar Ice. Ive been to the other BHM off Kyrene and Chandler but I heard they have a bigger store in phoenix, does that location have a lot of pro stocks and such?

From time to time they get in sticks and gloves. The Peoria store is where to go for most of that stuff. It's their hub and where the spread out all the good stuff.

Yeah i've become quite the stick whore myself. I have boughten 3 Perry Response lite Pro Stocks in the last week and I seriously considered buying that Stealth Hejduk a few days later. As far as the curve I dont remember it having a toe on it. More like a drury like curve as far as I can remember. It definately didnt have a Toe like my Perry.

I thought it was a neutral faced mid curve. I remember seeing one on ebay forever ago. I dont have a pic saved to my comp though. :(

I believe a European member here purchased a Hejduk game used T-Flex stick on ebay a couple of years ago. He didn't like the curve on the blade and offered it in the 'sell' section. I am pretty sure if you dig around enough you will find it.

We've got a ton of Hejduks in...probably 10 at Peoria. Nasty curve but the lie is too high for me...as always :/

At least I got my S17 though!

Yeah. That would have been me.

No more pics and the stick is long gone, too. Anyhow, it was a very high lie which is why I couldn´t handle it. Might even have been a 7 I´m not sure, though. The curve was very similar to the 2nd picture in the kovalev pro stock thread right here

That beeing said. I can´t beleive I shelled out nearly 200$ for it back then
