Mission Blade similar to Drury

Recommended Posts

It's the ProStock blade patterns, so I'm not sure if it differs from retail.

so are you looking for a "Mission prostock blade equivalent to a Drury retail"?? Because the initial question was not so specific. Anywhoo, maybe some of the prostock guru's can give a little more input.

Pro Stock Drury in Mission? HB741 Ballard Pattern is a Drury clone ( the curve cuts straight over rather than rounding its way though the toe- personal favorite ) and the A621 Heatley Pattern is also close ( slightly longer blade and opens up a touch more ). hope this helps.

@ Retail

Sundin will be Drury

Hainsey will be Lidstrom

Rafalski is Sakic

No more Ribeiro

i know what the catalogue says, but it is an early print and nothing is absolutely final. the last i heard was that the Lidstrom is going to be HAINSEY.

It's Ron Hainsey. And who cares? If it's a pattern you like, from a brand you want to support, it shouldnt matter if it says Scooby Doo.

i know that, but how many people under the age of 13(a lot of companies target market) don't care about what type of curve it is. a lot of people look for their favourite players name or the "curve they use" and buy that stick.

either that or they look for the coolest looking stick thats says "RBK" on it cuz thats what Crosby uses

People will do that once. Then, when they find out they can't use that curve they smarten up and try another one.

youd be surprised how many people i play with (midget) who buy the coolest stick, the RBK stick, or the stick they see someone in the NHL using.

most people on my team are using the wrong flex, the wrong lie and the wrong curve

And if it's pro stock they may actually use the wrong hand as well. I see it all the time.

sorry to bring this baby back from the dead, but I have a quick question regarding the older "drury clone" (carter) and the new "drury clone" (sundin).

I see that the sundin is listed as a 6 (making it a higher lie than an easton drury). My question is this: is the old carter curve the same lie as the new sundin (ie higher than the easton drury) or is it the same lie as the easton drury?

Any and all help is greatly appreciated

wrong hand ? you mean the person who shoots right handed will actually use a pro stock left handed stick/blade ?
