Anyone else tried to shoot one-handed like that after seeing the video...I did, and it wasn't pretty !

That guy must have unbelievable forearm strength.

Saw him in Buffalo a couple years ago walking back to the room from a TV interview...his forearms are the size of my calves *L*

There was a thread a while back with David doing some stick handling drils at home. He was amazing back then too

He scored a weird one lat night....his blade broke...and it's all black with black tape....Marc Denis reacted to the blade...and the puck kinda going half speed, trickled by him.

wow, after watching the wrist shot tutorial and working on leaning into the shaft i've got a bullet, helps i changed to an 85 flex too. Definetly can't shoot it that hard all the time though, but when opened up coming down the wrong wing i've scored a few beauties top corner.

off topic but i didn't think it was worthy of its own topic, but i was watching Molson That's Hockey tonight and they did segmentabout Kovalev and his passion for flying and showed him with his plane which is also used in this commercial for warrior. Figured cause of the paintjob it would been a plane somebody owned for airshows not Kovalevs.

i'm pretty sure he uses at least a 100 flex maybe even a 110.

and yes his arms/wrists are very strong (cue typical joke)

It's higher than that. Mack's not the only one that favors 120+ flex.

Those 100flex (Inno scale) AK27 shafts on HockeyMonkey might be his.

i couldn't remember what flex he used for sure - so i went and got the game used kovalev stick out of my closet - it is from a few years back but it was a easton grip lite shaft in 110 flex - i knew i was pretty close..

the stick is from back when he played for the penguins - so he may have moved up to an even stiffer flex since then - i dunno
