Kor hockeystick

We knew they were coming, now lets see how they perform after they make it to market. BTW, the word "clones" is abused, there are only so many ways a blade can be curved, the Easton Modano is a clone of something.

I'm going to have to agree with shifter, I actually think the stick looks pretty good cosmetically.

We'll just have to wait and see how much and what the performance is like.

...I was so pleasantly surprise when I found this and at most thrilled to know about it.

I agree with some of you, the red graphs look awesome; this is a stick I'll definitely try. Looking at Ogies info, KOR seems to have something interesting behind the stick, and don't doubt it that they'll have a story for it; coming out with a replica stick doesn't seem like their style.

It's like the skate thread, on which a lot of critics have something to say, but until you really take the time to talk with them (yes, they are actually always open to clear your doubts and share information), and most of all test the product then the comments get real value.

I guess the paint job is pretty much what we can argue here, which in my opinion is not bad at all, after all, KOR has not been know for the best cosmetics (again, the skate reference, meaning that the boot looks like an astronauts skate) but the product performance speaks for itself.

First off allow me to mention that JR has permitted us to participate and most of all to share product info with any interested party in this site.

I'm a Sr engineer that is actively involved in all hockey product design at KOR, and look forward to have the opportunity to meet all of you in January at LV.

On the KOR stick I'll be very brief and will gladly answer any following questions.

By no means are we coming out with a me too product, KOR has always taken pride in innovation and superior performance.

We have come up with a breakthrough process to "mold in" the blade, which truly fuses the stick into a one piece component; this is our Apex performance technology.

The stick does have a 17" taper, with a reinforced slash area, consistent flex through the stick with a mid-low kick point.

Beta versions have been distributed to selected retailers, and our super light structure will be presented in LV, this has a 445gr weight.

Kind regards,

EZ

Finally used it.

Lightweight, good feel, but not a fan of the grip. It's a tad bit overdone and was extremely tacky with a nash palm (XXXX Pro glove)

Modano Pro pattern is nice - however, can't seem to keep the puck down on wristers.

Where'd you get the XXXX pro glove? Is it possible for an average Joe like me to get a pair of them bishes?

I've had them for a month now. And, no.

They are also considering the Primeau and the Gionta (but I am unfamiliar with either of the latter two

Primeau is a Sakic with a lower lie, Gionta is a nasty Russian Khavanov/Zhamnov heel curve with a lie of 4 (in Fury anyway)

It is named the CX-3. It is the rugged and very durable use stick that was designed to fit into nearly all categories other than Pro.

The Pro quality stick is very precise in manufacture and has a very tight flex tolerance as well as finish weight. The blade design is very strong with a lot of feel and response. This high end stick is named the ZX-4. Basically the ZX family is pro level product available to the serious consumers. In either case, our tech support and customer service will remain uncompromised.
