ramensandwich 1 Report post Posted December 18, 2007 as some of you know, this visor started out as an Itech Concept II full shield. I had cut it down to a half shield, but i recently wanted to try a wave cut.I did this all by hand with a dremel

Eternal 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2007 How long did it take you to do that?
ramensandwich 1 Report post Posted December 19, 2007 it took about an hour and half. here's what i did...(i'm studying mechanical engineering so i did it the precise way)-drew a flat pattern of the visor on autoCAD and printed off a template.-put hockey tape on the visor where the cuts would be-traced the template-cut the wave on the bottom, cut the top mounting bar and vents off, and drilled mounting holes in the sides-ground and block sanded the bottom to make it flat and leveli know, i know, if i had worked an hour and a half at a real job, i'd have made enough money to buy a real visor haha... but i actually enjoyed doing this project. Eternal 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2007 Workings no fun i'd rather modify something then work the same time it took within reason to create it.
