Canadiens get spanked by Ribeiro

Recommended Posts

Whenever anyone mentions Mike Ribiero, I can't help but remember watching him play the Canucks last season. I had my company's tickets and I was three rows up from the ice. Right in front of me, I caught Ribiero checking out one of the ice guys. Not just a little peek, but a full-on neck-to-shoulders-to-back-to-butt-to-skates and back up again, the special look resevered for when the hottest girl of the night walks into the club (except in Mike's case, which apparently was reserved for the hottest ice guy).

Take it for what you will, but you can add my story to the legend of Ribiero.

so now the married guy with kids is gay <_< your so immature, i can tell you that we bagged enough chicks in high school to vouch for him...

And even if he was gay, what does that have to do with his talent, you homophobic bro?

Don't get bent out of shape, I never said he was gay. As I said, I'm just passing on my Mike Ribiero story. Doesn't matter to me who's gay and who's straight - I'm just telling my anecdote.

But...If it IS true...it makes the title of this thread very funny. I'm not sayin'...I'm just sayin'!

As for Briere, he followed the money, if Montreal offered the same deal he would have jumped all over it.

Montreal reportedly offered him more than Philly.

It's not true. What IS true is the fact that he bangs the hell out of the puck bunnies.

They're the favorite object of Razor's attention during television breaks. Allegedly.

More over the term...but I think it wasn't as front loaded as how Philly laid it out.

I dropped Ribeiro in my fantasy league 3 weeks ago because I figured there was no way he could keep up this pace, plus he had few PIMS and S.O.G. That's just more evidence of my craptacular decision making ability. I think it's Morrow that's been keeping his line held together, especially since losing Lethinen for so long about a month+ ago BTW, he did look really thin in that picture!

Ribeiro was recently quoted as saying the entire reason he's playing as well is because of Morrow.

I just signed the anti-Bettman petition. It needs more signatures badly! BTW, it's too bad Dallas has only 2 or 3 decent offensive players or they might be able to do some playoff damage...

Blame that on the GM, not on Bettman

I hope he keeps going. Im hoping that Dallas can land some more UFA's in the near future, it sure isnt a bad city to play in, plus I would like to see them score a ton of goals.

At his best, scoring the way he is, he is barely a 5 million dollar player. At his worse he is barely worth the min. It'll be hard for Dallas to get good value out of him (not impossible), but it could happen. He just needs to keep this season up for the next 5 years.

As long as he doesn't get any advice from his buddy Jose about what to do after the big contract, maybe he'll be okay. *L*

the min  I have to disagree with you... hes not worth 5 mil, I'd say 3-4 but theres allot of guys pulling huge paychecks that are not worth there money

Got 2 more points tonight and both at even strength, too bad he missed the penalty shot...

That penalty shot was pretty funny.
