Blueandgold26 1 Report post Posted December 31, 2007 In the outdoor game tomorrow do you think the composites will become more brittle due to the low temperatures? Also i have a dolomite (with the green graphics) and it has great feel, will the feel ever weaken?
TheBert 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2007 Doesn't pretty much everything (wood included) become more brittle in the cold?

nyhockeyplaya22 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2007 i have used 3 warrior dolomites and all of them tend to juss die, in about less then a month nd a couple of weeks. Hard to explain but like the shot losses its hardness. There is no more "pop" off the blade on your shot...its like playing with a wet noodle. Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone else experienced this?I have had that happen to all the stealth CNTs ive had which is too bad cuz i really liked them. The dolomite i used i didnt like so i sold it before before it lost its pop but is there any sticks that dont lose their pop so quickly because it kinda sucks ahaving a $200+ stick that isnt that great. gxc999 7 Report post Posted January 1, 2008 TPS makes excellent sticks for durability. It literally takes a couple thousand shots just to break them in. Look at the R6 and R2, they're both tanks.
nyhockeyplaya22 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2008 surprising about the CNT i had mine for over a year and it still had its pop, but then it broke on a 1 timer lol...Most durable stick i still think is those Tour Bemmers, now those are tanks
BK 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2008 Everything gets brittle at a certain point.. only thing is that your body will get brittle before that graphite carbon will.Wood will break down if water get in and freezes.

A2rhino 76 Report post Posted January 1, 2008 In the outdoor game tomorrow do you think the composites will become more brittle due to the low temperatures?I was wondering the same thing. If the extreme would be a factor on the sticks? Now the only questions is injuries from the weather.
mack 44 Report post Posted January 1, 2008 I've played many, many times with composites outdoors and there's never been a noticeable difference in durability for me. Hands may get more sensitive to any vibration but that's not the stick's doing at all.
vitaminZ 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2008 I saw one stick break right in half today on a shot, and I think it actually went further than the puck :D
