Just for reference, can someone take a picture of there foot on the skate sole? I want a picture from someone who knows how skates should fit. I'm trying to make a case that my LHS fitted me wrong and to get my money back.

wow the hockey shop refunded my Vapor XXXX, I guess they were sick of me coming in an asking for adjustments :P . But if they fitted you and they hurt your feet, it is not the customers fault is it?

I went to another shop and he recommeded I try some tacks, which were suprising comfortable they felt so cushy compared to the 40's..

Sounds like you were looking for a skate that was broken in out of the box.. If they are cushy now, wait til you skate in them 10 or so times.. :/ At least you went to your LHS and didn't buy online.

no no, they misjudged the width of my foot... i was getting marks on the sides of my feet where the skate was cutting into it. So tight my feet were going numb. And I skated in my vapor 40's around 20 times and my feet only got worse.

It sounds like he felt discomfort in the store, which got worse after he actually used them. If so then that shop is horseshit and I wonder if he has the same LHS I do.
