Nike bauer vapor 45 shoes

i got them like 2 months ago...

but haven't seen them in stores since i bought them...

they had them up here in sport chek's and all the sporting good stores

That shoe was part of the 'Hockey Training' package that was released last July (along with the re-release of the 'Shox 45' and the Free Trainer with the NBH logo). These shoes are now on sale at most stores (here in Canada).

No Bauer logo = Nike trying to get your dollars. I'll wait for the NBH texallium cross trainers, maybe then I can get a pair of running shoes to last more than 6 months.

Retail markup on shoes is basically 1/2 the retail price. Nike isn't making all the money.

i used to "sell" those at work. i say "sell" because i didnt move a single pair. they're light, but i can't see the outsole lasting too long for any sort of outdoor training.

I'm not talking about markup, I'm talking about Bauer not having made them, all the cash from the shoes goes to Nike HQ not our favorite little hockey arm of the Nike beast.

If NBH makes a shoe with Vapor or Supreme styling with solid Nike underpinnings and sells it for under $100, I'd be hard-pressed to not consider it.

That would be heaven. The Edge is my favorite shoe of all time.

One of my favorites. It's the only shoe that I have ever bought two pairs of. Wish they lasted longer though... But what do you expect from a $75 Nike shoe?

The Edge trainer was released in the 'Team Canada' colorway (white with black and red trim) last summer, but did not have the NBH logo. The only shoe that was released with the NBH logo were the Free 7.0 trainers (in the Team Canada and white/royal colors).

The 'Vapor Trainer' was never released in Canada. The closest thing to it in the US was the 'Men's Huarache TR 07'. It has the same mid sole/out sole.

Jackal is right. Stores had a hard time selling that shoe. Most places offered it in a B.O.G.O. 50%.
