Inno Composite Replacement Blades

Recommended Posts

Lemme get this straight: these are basically Dolo 2 Blades with a different paint job.

I'm planning on getting an intermediate Dolo 2 shaft; would I get an intermediate or senior blade here? Is the intermediate supposed to be junior or something?

Good deal by the way. Curves are known since they're Warrior curves, no need to guess with pro stocks that are $10 more on HM.

Similar, but with the older construction methods that provide better feel.

Since they are the older construction can we also assume they are a bit more durable? A big disappointment for me has been the change from my 1st Dolomite blade to the new Dolomite 2's that I've been getting. They don't even last half as long.

Regardless of the method of manufacture, there are always differences in durability from batch to batch.

Just a heads up for canadian buyers, Hockeyworld increased the price on shipping after my order was placed and gave me no notification. My shipping was originally $17 and they increased it to $38.50!

Only reason I found out was I checked to see if I got a tracking number. Disappointing to say the least.

This was for 3 inno blades and 3 runners for my t'blades. It's still a good deal and it's shipped through USPS (no brokerage). It's just not that great of a deal as it could have been. At least they should have informed me about the change in price.

they have theses blades at the peranis i go to. some are the tight weave some are checkered. alot of them say nike bauer on the hosel and inno on the blade. its wierd. the checkered ones are made really bad. i think the warrior rejects are relabeled and used as innos to sell for cheaper. bought a jovanowski and the whole bottom just split all the way down after my first ice. i bought a kovalev last night thats a tight weave style and its fine after one use but we'll see.

kinda off topic, but how do you go about choosing which lie you want a warrior blade in? I hear they make each pattern in all lies, but i never see an option to choose at LHS or online.

thats because the retailers all only buy one lie of each pattern. I'd say your best bet would be to try ordering through your LHS

I got my Inno LH Kovalev blade and 1st thing I noticed is that the weave is different. It's not the checkerboard type. It's more like diamond shaped. I used it last night and I didn't notice any difference between the Dolomite blade and this one. Very happy with the cheaper price. We'll see how long it lasts.

Does anyone know what the different pattern of the weave is all about? Is it better or worse as far as durability?

Received my Weight's today. Old weave pattern, says drurytap lie 5 on the hosel, and the hosel itself is 1" longer then regular short hosel blades. I've never had a Warrior blade so I'm not sure if they're usually like this. Kinda sucks because I'll have to cut down my shaft an inch but it's not the end of the world.

The curve itself is the same as my rbk p13. So I can confirm Warrior Weight = RBK p13 = TPS p27 = Easton Darby. I'll get some pics up soon.

I used mine once since I got it. The thing that aggravates me is that, as you stated, it's about an inch difference between this blade and my regular blade. I'm definitely not cutting my stick that much just for a blade. Now, will that inch actually make that much of a difference? I doubt it....But in my head right now it does. lol!!!

I would much rather cut that one inch and have a negligible increase in stiffness than play with a stick that's one inch longer than I'm used to.

I just picked up 5 RH Fedorov tapered blades. It seemed like everyone was always sold out of the Fedorov Dolomites and I was getting sick of not having a backup. I actually prefer the old Inno blades to the new Warrior blades as well so all in all this was an awesome deal.

I picked up two LH Kovy's. Both were the wide weave with the blue and yellow graphics. One broke early in the first game I used it. It split along the seam on the bottom and vertically near the toe. The other is strong after about 4 games.

the same as the new warriors?

Not sure if this helps, but the Inno Draper blade I have is identical to a Warrior Draper.

Quick question about the Inno and Warrior tapered blades. They have a longer hosel than any other taper blade I have seen. What effect if any does that have when paired with another brand shaft, like a Synergy II?
