Pro Stock Si-Cores?

Recommended Posts

Hey fellas, hows it going?

This may sound dumb but, I just have a quick question for all you guys. I was wondering if you guys knew where I could get a bunch of the pro-stock si-cores in the modanno pattern? You know, the ones with the blank name plate. Is there any way I could order them directly from Easton? I knew a manager of one team that would always get those sticks directly from easton and for cheap too, but i lost his phone number. Any help would great, thanks.

umm, why not get the retail ones with a warranty? You're not going to find many places where you get pro stocks cheaper unless someone is sneaking them out the back door.

I did get a couple of the retail ones and they both broke about week after the warrenty eneded, and the pro stock one i've had for a couple months is still kicking. Also, the pro-stock had a different feel to it, which i liked better.

This is interesting, I was just gonna start a topic about this myself. Today at the LHS I saw they had one pro stock Si-core (not sure what pattern it was as the name plate was blank) and it was actually quite alot cheaper than the retail ones were, that was a surprise to me. It was about $35 (American) less than the retail ones. So what I was gonna ask when I found this thread was if it's common that the pro stock sticks are cheaper, I wouldn't think they normally are but in this case it was.

Sometimes teams will sell the old sticks after a player leaves a team or the equipment guy hooks up a friend or two.

The one I got was brand new, It had the bar code sticker, and was still in the plastic wraping. I was also there when the UPS guy dropped off the package. The best part was he was selling them for $75 bucks, so I was wondering If anyone else knew where to get them

Funny you just mentioned this I just ordered a pro-stock Si-Core from a big online retailer but when I got the stick it was the same graphics. orange, etc and all but w/o the "Si-Core" on it. They were on sale for $139 so I got it. Is it possible from anyone's experience on here that it is a regular Synergy ? Maybe the player pattern (Brown on L.A.) has the Si-Core removed ?

yea the pro-stock ones don't say si-core, the only reason i thought it was a si-core was because it said "NHL Syn Si-core" or something to that effect on the bar code sticker

One of my teammates has a pro stock modo si-core with a blank nameplate. There is also no si-core sign on the side of the stick too, just synergy.

Same here with my sakic Si-core. I was wondering if it was in fact a si-core for a while, but now you guys have cleared up alot of the confusion about that.

Not that there aren't Synergys simply painted orange, but some pro stocks are obviously going to be Si-Cores. Grips don't have the "grip" logo on them either but will still have the coating.
