NikeBauer One90 Senior Composite Shaft

Recommended Posts

It might be a CCM or a One50 blade.

Anyway, the shaft and OPS are two different animals. The shaft has a .620 taper, yes, but it's not long enough to effect the size of tenon required, only to slightly lower the kickpoint.

The OPS has the same taper, but it is longer. It isn't as thin as the Vapor line or other sticks, but it's still a tapered shaft.

Edit- A few posts later he said it was a CCM Vector 8.0 blade.

I could be completly wrong but i think the ops is an .520 taper not a .620.

If you're referring to the one90/yellow blade, isn't that an easton ST blade? and aren't those standard?

He says 2 posts down that it's a CCM V8.0

I see I see, I wasn't tryin to prove him wrong or anything, I just didn't know so I asked. It makes sense that the one-piece would be tapered and the shaft not, pretty much (give or take some things) a synergy to an ultralite all those years.

Awesome, my Bauer Endure uses the .470 ultra taper!

Come to think of it, I think my buddy's Bauer V uses it as well . . .

I was joking, .520 is tapered to fit a blade, .470 will be skinnier, have better performance, and make conversion from OPS to 2-piece difficult.

So it must be better?
