Exactly, Mike...

The funny thing is that Weisbrod demanded that we get rid of all of the jerseys in the pro shop. They ended up just throwing them in a box and donating them to a youth center.

Here are the pics of Adidas skates that I could find in that book, both pics are from the 1979 World Championships in Moscow.

Also, around 1986 and 1987 Adidas were the official jersey manufacturers for the World Championships just like Nike is today, so even Canada and the USA were using Adidas jerseys in those tournaments. And in the 1987 Canada Cup both the Czechs and the Russians were still sporting their Adidas jerseys (all other teams used other brands in this tournament though), there's a pic of the Russian version in this link.
