CCM Vector 10.0 Pro Stock Curve V16 *PIC ADDED*

I was going to buy a pro stock 10.0 that has a V16 pattern, as I was told by a friend that it's a Drury clone, and I've been wanting to dry out a Drury. I thought I'd see if anyone else has seen this pattern, and can confirm whether it's a drury, and if not, what it's similar to? Thanks.

EDIT* I have a picture of the curve now. What do the Drury lovers think, is it close?

Also, if this is not a Drury, does anyone know what the drury clone pattern is for CCM? As in for Bauer P91, RBK D15 etc. Thanks.

Chime in...P91 is not exactly a Drury clone...

CCM's equivalent is the Ovechkin. It's not 100% dead on, but it's pretty darn close.

I wouldn't buy the top of the line OPS if you're not sure you like the curve. Buy a $20 blade first, IMHO.

Sorry, you're right, P91 is close but not an exact clone.

I know CCMs retail clone is Ovechkin, I'm wondering if anyone knows what the pro stock clone is? Also, I agree with you, it would normally make more sense to buy a blade and test it out. However, the 10.0 in this case is very cheap, and a tapered blade would cost almost the same amount.

The shaft is twisted, looks a bit deeper than a Drury, closer to Lidstrom.

Well, that's to say the pic looks like a Drury, but it's probably going to be deeper once you get a look straight down the shaft.

Sorry, but what do you mean by this? Are you saying it's Druryish, but not an exact replica of the retail pattern?

It looks closer to Drury's pro pattern rather than the retail pattern that bares his name. It definitely is not a retail drury clone, look at the toe and the curve, different.

Yep, square rather then round toe. I've never seen a drury pro curve though. Does this maybe have a bit more curve and tiny bit more loft then the retail?

...along with any guess at the lie. Which would make it a heel wedge, not a Drury (A Drury retail is a heel wedge, but not all heel wedges are Drury curves)

the pro stock clone of a retail drury is the d-15 pattern, there are some variations of it like d-13, d-14, etc.

FC is Fischer, easton makes on as well, theres pictures on ebay every now and then, fairly unique

I've had the v16 on a RBK pro stock and normally use the lidstrom. I found the curve to be between lidstrom and drury but with a lower lie than both.

So is the V-16 a Lecavalier?

I know buzz posted a chart, but CCM has all these different patterns where there are different numbers with different letters I just want to confirm before i bite on teh hockeymonkey sticks.

yes but keep in mind a 2008 lecavalier is different from a 2007

Its kind of dumb to ask now since i ordered a V10.0 just now. But how is the Lecavalier different from 07? Is it just the toe from what i can tell or did they totally revamp it?
