RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted March 31, 2008 Was it selected from a drop down of players names...or did she mis-type it when she ordered?

NoAngleDangler 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2008 Thats brutal you would think this type of thing wouldn't happen from premade jerseys.
Aussie Joe 0 Report post Posted March 31, 2008 I know Im an asshole for saying this but its pretty funny, I mean I would be pissed off about it initially if it happend to me, but I know all the lads in the change rooms would get a kick out of NHL.com's error. Maybe send a letter to Luongo and ask him to change his name so your jersey is correct. ;)
Tailboard Jockey 25 Report post Posted April 1, 2008 that sucks. did they replace it for you?Yeah, we didn't have any problems getting it replaced. I just thought it was funny that the name of the best player on the team gets misspelled when you order from the team store.

JJ Thompson94 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2008 That is pretty funny. I'm sure they'l replace it no problem for you like the other guy said. You should demand that you not pay for shipping though, but I think they won't say anything and it'll be fine. Funny though.
ultraman7k 0 Report post Posted April 1, 2008 lol i saw that luongo misspell on the canucks forums. ahh nhl.com...
mickz 107 Report post Posted April 1, 2008 Not to add insult to injury but the lettering they used is also incorrect. You've got the vintage style lettering rather than the current style.
mack 44 Report post Posted April 1, 2008 Man, to think my biggest gripe/mishap is the fact a lot of places won't use apostrophes in the names.

greatsave31 0 Report post Posted April 5, 2008 Wow I remember when I had my own jersey misspelled by our teams jersey guy, but holy hell!!! It's almost similar to the urband legend that the NY Rangers did when they had Lorne Chabot as a goalie back in the 1930's. the team's manegment, according to legend, tried to convince the goaltender to change his name to chabotsky... in an effort to entice jewish members of the community to come to games. cougarscaptain87 12 Report post Posted April 5, 2008 ive had quite a few blunders on my personal jerseys, first year in highschool i wore METKALF when its really spelled METCALF, and there have been a few youth leagues i had to wear METCALFE, and METCLAF. the funny thing is, I was never the first one to notice that it was spelled wrong, it was always a coach or a friend
