I very much doubt JFJ will be coming to Vancouver. My guess is, the next GM will be Steve Tambellini.

Nonis was around before the current ownership....wasn't Vigneault hired since the new owners have been in? I think he may be safe, for at least the start of next year.

Sometimes teams do and sometimes they don't. There is no rule as to when they ditch the coach after they ditch a GM but it almost always happens.

I could see Burke coming back to Vancouver before going to Toronto. I don't think either will happen though. He'll most likely just stay in Anaheim.

TSN was saying that fabian brunnstrom was going to sign with Vancouver but not if Nonis was fired.........so short term consequences is we already lost a "elite" prospect because the owners jumped the gun.

That "elite" prospect seems like he is a real pain in the ass, anyway. He apparently wants rookie max with bonuses (so ~$2 mil a year), plus top six minutes. Sounds like the type of guy who'd jet back to Sweden if someone hurt his feelings. For a 23 year old who has never played a game in the NHL (and only one season in the SEL), he seems to think he is entitled to a lot.
