End cap

Not too big of a deal, but i was just wondering if it is possible to get the end cap that come in sticks. I cant play with an open end, it just throws me off, but i dont want to put a wood plug in either. I found some square caps at a local hardware store, and can cut them to fit, but was just wondering if there is anywhere i can order some regluar caps like those that come stock in sticks. Thanks.

he means the plug that comes stock in a composite stick

your cap goes over the butt and it's meant to use less tape for those who like big ends

im actually just looking for the stock cap, not a plug. if anyone has any around, or sitting in a shop, i will compensate! :D

I have ordered the AR one in the past it is not bigger or wider ie for less tape is it just like the stock ones except it adds about 1/2" to the stick length, thats about as close to the stock one I have found online.

Like i said ive used plugs, but just dont like em, want to just stick to caps.

what kind of a stick is it for? Different sticks have different dimensions and not all caps will work well for every stick. The only end caps I really like are the ones that come with the new S17.

well actually its for several different sticks. I have some in my warrior sticks and the tps sticks that have logos on them and seem like harder plastic. But i think i have 6 (soon maybe up to 10) that i may need some caps. I like just the plain ones that have came in my one90, or SE, and they fit exactly the same on any other stick i have. But i would gladly take any cap as long as it will fit into a stick!

for me, i just cant stand the feel. It feels totally different to me to have an open end, or even a plug (extension). I tried just taping over the hole, but nothing other than a cap feels "right" in my hands.

how do you tape the handle of the stick? I've been using a beat-ass synergy for off-ice stick work (until the blade dies) and with my grip on there the open end isn't noticeable. I've yet to use anything on ice that didn't have wood in it though.

you can basically see it here on my one90. it just barely goes above the cap and curls over just barely. basically just the sides of the cap where it meeds the shaft.

Okay. And most people with a cap probably use a shorter stick? I have to throw a wood plug in most of my shafts to gain an extra couples inches.
