There are a lot of members on this forum that speak english as a second, third language. There are also members that use translators to read the forum, writing in shorthand is not helping them and it's disrespectful to the intergrity of the board.

Or it's because correct grammar and punctuation is a lost art in today's society. At least among the teens who have no regard for the language they were raised by. Past that, it's a crap shoot.
