Tape-2-Tape stickhandling training system

Recommended Posts

looks cool, definetly awesome how you dont have to be on the ice. Wasn't there another thing like that but it had to be on the ice? Forgot what it was called.

One of my friends have it and I think the Tape-2-tape is awesome. The rebound is really fast, I highly recommend it for Defenceman (for one-timers). They really captured the ice like feeling with the surface that comes with it.

It's amazing!!

I love mine I was just thinking i was going to make a review for it. It has a great space for wrsiters its good for toe drags, and it has the ruber band for on ice pass help and reieving passes. All you need is a driveway and some silicon spray to go wit it. :D

does anyone know if there is anywhere in the UK selling this

I don't think so but I have a couple of these ( http://www.nudo.com/nu-ice/skillpad/ ) new and un-used in the UK if you are interested. PM me if you are interested.

If you decide to import a tape 2 tape PM me as well as we might be able to share shipping costs (depending on where you are in the UK)

Simon

What are the differences between the Tape-2-Tape system and the Fury Ultimate passer? Has anyone used both and can compare? The Ultimate passer looks like it would have a much wider sweet-spot for receiving the puck, but Tape-2-Tape has the off-ice smooth surface.

Edit:

Here's a better link for Tape-2-Tape:

I was playing with one in Perani's, and it seemed pretty cool. I personally would probably get bored with it pretty quick, but it seems somewhat useful.

Lol oh and it does help in accuracy to i used to be a playmaker now im more of a sniper and a lot of it is becasue of this pad it has taken my game to the next level. But a regualr ice pad might help you just as much and with you being in the UK it will be very expensive to ship because of the size it might end up costing you quite a bit.

is there any place to get tape-2-tape cheaper then $169?

or is the consensus that it'd cheaper to build something similar?

you could easily make something for a lot cheaper. It just takes some creativity.

The set up I use I could just add something to have pucks fired back at me. Someone told me a tire would do the same thing, or even a bungee cord that is tight.

It's $169.99 plus at least $25 shipping surcharge.

I'm curious what Tape-2-Tape uses to immitate ice?

Also does it need to be sprayed with silicone spray or something?

The reason I ask is because I got a small sheet of plastic, but even after applying silicone spray the puck still doesn't slide like it would on ice :(

did you wipe the spray off? If you leave it on their it doesn't work. It won't recreate the ice entirely, just good enough.
