Bauer LBDP Gloves

I thought Chadd used to like these (and obviously geki will have an opinion).

I've seen a few with goatskin palms and wanted to give them a try, but never got around to it.

One of my buddies had them (not nylon) and he hated them for being extremely stiff. Awesome protection though.

Kind of like the old school gloves, before all the companies started catering to pickier and pickier players. Could withstand a car crash and protect your hands, take about a year to completely break in, by today's standards, and you would need them to be goatskin to get much feel through those palms. Oh, and they're pretty heavy too.

It's a very protective glove for the price but, I hate the one piece fingers.

There are some Kings gloves like that at the PIAS here. I tried them on and it felt like I put my hand in a cloth covered box... the inside of the glove literally felt square.

They're a great pair of gloves, especially for that price. But you have to be prepared for a "break-in" time unlike most off the shelf gloves of today. It'll take a few games to get them broken in. They're also a bit more bulky than they appear in that photo, very square on the back of the hand.

we have a pair in the shop, i think they were Prongers, short, one piece fingers, and the cuffs came damn near up to my elbows

Pronger has had wrist problems in the past so i think that may be why he has big cuffs.

by far the best gloves ive ever had. i have lbdp's, and i absolutely love them, great protection and mobility, however as people say, it did take time to break in.
