Just got back from the Canucks team sale. Went in w/ STH at 9am and it was a mad dash to the sticks. Gong show, people just grabbed all the sticks and hid in a corner to sort through what they wanted. One guy took 5 of the Doughty S19's, they were SOOOO nice! (Some were $100, others $150, depending on condition).

I managed to walk out with a C.Hodgeson One95 Team Canada Edition, pretty cool.

Overall, pretty good sale, nice skate selections, fair amount of gloves, pants and pant shells. The sticks area was just too crazy!

Note: To anyone who got a Doughty S19, I WANT ONE! Haha...

Went in, pretty sweet show. I wasn't to big on looking for sticks, so I went straight to gloves. Found a pair of Bauer 4-Rolls, took those. I left to look for protective, kinda disappointed. They had some reasonably nice Jofa, but didn't like them anyways. Just went back to the gloves, found new 10k's took those. Soooo many Salo sticks.

Overall it was really cool. I don't think I'll go back unless it's with the staff.

I don't know about $200, maybe a new pair? I saw a pretty used pair of Burr Franchises for $100.

Some real gems of a deal at the sale though, a guy infront of me in line got a pair of Ryan Johnson TotalOne's in really good condition for $150; even had a protectional peice for the lace area too, pretty neat.

I didn't see any Burrows? I saw two pairs of Lukowich, one blacked out and one in the current Canucks color scheme. Both had digital palms that had holes in them.

The Hodgson One95 was $100. I had a couple Samuelsson XXXX's in my hand aswell until I realized they were $200 a peice. They were nice sticks, but worth $200?...I didn't think so.

It was my first time at a team sale, was VERY overwhelmed, but it was a really cool experience just checking out all the gear and seeing everyone go crazy over it.

Some guy on PHEW got X:60 gloves for $30, because somebody put(or maybe switched) the tag with a pants shell...highway robbery.

I saw someone else with a Hodgson One95 for $100 as well. It was taped so it is considered used, i presume. I watched the guy get it; he asked staff in the back for a Hodgson and the staff got it for him, even though he was a lefty (based on his Burr Warrior).

I managed to get two new Dolomites for used price - happy enough considering i went in well after 10. But was close to a barely used Edler 10K, some girl snatched it out of my hands by a mere second. Ridiculous...

They probably only got away with it because they went to a cashier who didn't know much about hockey gear and how busy it was in the first two or three hours. I'm pretty sure he bought it when there was still the huge rush since there was only 1 pair of X60 and I saw the kid holding them. I was still there later in the day and they caught somebody switching stickers...

i was there today, and the owner was telling me that they aren't going to get that much of it... they didn't buy any from them this year...

but they do have a ton of kessel's x:60's... and conroy (ovie clone) one95's...

AFAIK most of the leftover stock will be held for next year's sale. Most of the popular player's gear will be bundled and auctioned off during games next year (ex. Game worn jersey + Gloves + Stick) something along those lines.
