Broke my Red Lite XN10 whip

I was turned on to the RL XN10 when I came on this forum last winter and was lucky enough to pick one up used. Enjoyed it thoroughly until tuesday night when it got wedged between me, the back of the net, and a guy skating in between the two. Snap. Made a pretty cool noise when it broke though heh.

TPS Redlite XN10 Regular flex. Hands down the best shaft that I have ever used, and still better than most OPS on the market currently. Thankfully, I still have 4 more of them. ;)

wow - that's my old XN10! Pretty sweet that it broke in 3 pieces rather than just 2 (may it RIP). Of course, I too regret selling it to Neal - I now have a regular-flex and prefer the whip.

Does anyone know if the Redlite XN10's break in and become whippier like other sticks do? I'm guessing they will but don't know how much.

Mine did, and I sold it because it kind of torqued on me. Granted, my technique was terrible at the time, so maybe I just couldn't shoot.

After using an old R2 XN10 intermediate shaft at the shooting range for the last couple months, I'd absolutely love for them to reissue these shafts!

Anyone know if the Vapor XXXX shaft is similar at all?

I have the exact same setup. I love mine (luckly it hasn't broken yet). I have gone through 2 xxx lites since I bought it used off of ebay.

Thankfully I have 4 more of those shafts sitting and waiting. Well.....3 more now that I have taped up and stuck the Easton blade into one of the ones that was waiting for it's tour of duty. ;)
