Custom Wood Sticks

Hey guys,

I tried searching, but all I could see were composite custom questions.

I am getting married in September, and I didn't want to go with the same old engraved pewter things everyone else gets.

Does any company make custom wood sticks for groomsmen? I have seen custom bats, but sticks shouldn't be that much harder.

You might be able to purchase a stick with relatively plain graphics, and then have someone (or yourself) burn in the inscription. We did that on my old baseball team with bats, you just need the right equipment. Nothing a trip to Home Depot couldn't solve though.

Christian may be a little more expensive as they do the custom curve, and I think they require a minimum order. How many of these were you looking for?

Sher-Wood should be able to do it, I know both my club and HS teams did custom-graphic'd sticks in addition to trophies at the end of the year.

Custom sticks may be a cool thing to do. If that doesn't work out you could always try custom jerseys. That's what I did for my groomsmen and the ushers. They turned out pretty decent (although I wouldn't get SP jerseys again as they run short). I did the artwork myself and found a local place to embroider the crest cheap and then attach them to the SP blanks.

Another great idea. I have seen a few sites with custom mini sticks. I might even try to find someone locally who can burn/engrave wood. I could buy some new wood sticks out of the budget barrel at my lhs and sand off the paint.

ProTeam is definitely the way to go for the custom graphics.. However i hope no one plans on using these sticks as in my opinion they are by far the worst one piece stick ever made.. We have a couple sr sticks that flex like it was a youth model... The blades are soft and buttery.. Definitely a great gift idea but should be stamped with "NOT INTENDED FOR ACTUAL GAME USE!!!!" :)
