A funny little thing my Doctor said when he was all done - I asked if there was going to be a scar, and he said there would be, but it would be very small and hard to see. I said "Oh, ok." Then he said "I'll put it to you like one of my Professor's did in med school - 'If you've got her down there already, it really doesn't matter.'"

I'm planning on getting it done in the fall. I was planning on getting it done a year and half ago but had to postpone because I was sick. My wife was going to get her tubes tied but there is over a 3 year wait. My brother had it done earlier this year and told me the same thing I've read here. ICE, ICE, ICE, &more ICE. He had a buddy who after a week thought he was fine and went running. MISTAKE. He was in a ton of pain and then sore for a month.

had it done after my son was born (only child). the main reason why was my wife has a form of MD.

as far as the procedure i had some discorft. the doc did not use enough pain killers. while he was cutting i felt alot of pain. he said he could give me more so i told him just finish the job. at home i really did not feel any pain. i was ready to gp the next day. but my wife put me on bed rest for the weekend. was it worth it? i'll never say:rolleyes:

My doctor said week and a half. I know everyone is different, but did anyone start to soon?

I was fine and walking around the following day. Most guys are fine within a few days. You just need to take it easy for a week due to the stitches. Just do it in the off-season and take a week away.
