Nikebauer One75 VS One90

Recommended Posts

Hey,

Are the new one 75's an upgrade of last seasons One 90's or not? What skates better?

Sorry if this has already been posted I couldn't find anything.

I have a pair of on75s and I did about 2 and a half months research and from what I found the on75s are about twice as comfortable than the on90s and no matter how much I wanted to buy some sweet pro returns one90s the one75 was a much more comfortable skate and they are very very very very easy to break in.

I just bought a pair of ONE90's over the ONE75s. I got a new pair cheaper then the ONE75 ticket price (shipping inc) and decided it was worth it for the LS2 power and clarino liner over the tru suede and Lightspeed 2.

I'm not bothered by the long break in time thats expected, as I will be in these skates for a long time to come.

from what ive heard. the one75 is the same model as the one90 just without all the problems (clear ls2 holders, outsole ripping off, ect...). i got the one75 and skated on them a few times, i like them but im not used to a stiff boot since the skates ive been wearing before that had alot softer of a boot and were worn out pretty fast. i would say to go with the one75s based on my opinion/research.

Wasnt the LS2 Power one of the "problem" areas of the One90 skate as well? I think the One75 has more volume than the One90 even though they're nearly indentical otherwise. I had a LHS owner tell me the One90 LS2 power blades were unreliable

as well, the One90 was Canadian-made, while China's taking care of One75 production. not sure if this really makes a huge difference at the end of the day, but i know this fact may be irksome to a few people.

i could also be wrong, but from what i understand, the One95 and XXXX are the only retail-level models made in North America.

someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

Also did my share of research on these skates and got them when they first came out. They are awesome and pretty easy to break in. Very similar to One90 but have the blade/holder issues the One90 had fixed and are definitely more comfortable.

I don't mind if the One75 is made in china it is still the best skate I have ever had, great compliment to my new one90 shin pads, im starting to become a gearwhore now that I have a job and won 300 dollars at a poker party ;)

Abit of an Update I guess: Got the ONE90's on Friday arvo, they fit straight out of the box and I heard the "POP" I've been told about when I 1st put them on. Great fit even after the bake. Pretty much no pain or blisters etc on my 1st skate, though I did have pins and needles in the left foot at one point. That dissappeared when I finally got off the bench on pick up.

I also am in utter shock how sharp the turns are on them. Finally a chassis that cuts corners as well as my Sprungs. ;)
