Warrior Stick End Cap

Recommended Posts

Anyone know where I can get a couple of extra end caps for warrior sticks other than swiping some off of sticks on a rack? I tried the direct method and Warrior denied me :(

I'm sure you can ask a proshop to help you out. We usually have a bunch of left over end plugs that some customers forget about or don't need. And I'm pretty damn sure that any butt plug will work with your twig, however, if your strictly looking for warrior ones you my friend are the ultimate brand whore. So remember for your butt end, any plug will do regardless of brand but just get the right size. You wouldn't want to jam a Sr plug in a Jr butt end. (ohhh the immaturity on my part)

And on a side note, don't swipe them off sticks. That's just damn bastardly.

I've got some no branded type if you are interested... you can have them if you want, just pay for postage.

Also, i've got some those that come with easton shafts (not sure if other brands have them). They are the ones that have a loop at the top for you to display your shafts in teh store ... you can use that, filed down the loop...

There's a problem being a brand whore?!?!?! :D

Yeah.. I just need a couple of caps.. the sticks that I got from a team sale didn't have them in the shaft, or its got an extension on there that would have me on skates that has platforms on the bottom.

I got better things to do than to piss off any guys working the LHS. They do more for us than some people realize.

Thanks for the advice.

Wow, could be a new market and business opportunity. I just posted one on ebay, starting bid $50. ;)

In all seriousness, just ask your LHS to save one for you. Also, I can't believe people steal these things from the new sticks when the shop prob has a bucket of them they would give away.

I haven't paid for a plug or cap in quite a while. The local shop has tons of them in a box in the workbench. Unless I need 4" of extension or something, I just ask.

I've even got 2 carbon extensions from him (people buying Easton sticks and having them cut down at the shop).

or you could just be a crooked bastard, head to your LHS with a flat-head screwdriver and pop 'em off yourself.

i'd advise against it though.

One kid on my team this year actually did that on a road trip.

Pm-ed ya back. No prob with them... not that I have a lot but I've put 2 aside for you. Got a few more, but you may have to do a little work on them to cut off the top loop, then file it down a little.

You could also just cut the extension off so that it is flush with the butt end, then if you want to get it out just put a screw in it, heat it up a little and pull.

BAH! Too much work! Lol I had the same thought though.. then again if I bought a plug for around $5, it would still be $5 more than a free plug..

The warrior end caps are flimsy and cheap for end caps, I've found. Never thought I'd be able to say that about a freaking end cap.

On one of my Dolomites, I had removed the end cap to let dried glue from the blade or whatever is rattling around fall out. When I put it back in, I gave it a rather gentle tap on the rubber flooring of our bench, looked at it, and it was destroyed. The corners of the end cap had separated from the center and fallen off, and the middle of it fell directly into the shaft.

The other ones sticker fell off.

tsk tsk. -_- Warrior needs to step it up :P

My bad for some reason I thought that the sticks already had extensions in them, much easier to get a free one haha.
