Try on a bunch of pads, pick the ones that fit the best, then wear them around the house. I will never use a pad without the middle elbow strap.

On those Jofa-style elbow pads the middle strap is key. Don't cut it off, you'll regret it.

I've always had to cut off the middle strap on my Jofas- never had any issues. On most pads it goes right across the inside of the elbow joint and causes irritation. Everyones arms are different, and that strap may or may not be needed to hold the pad in place, your mileage may vary.

perhaps true, but i think that most find keeping the middle strap and lower (forearm) strap tight and loosening the top (bicep) works significantly better.

i completely agree it is very irritating

and the pad stays in position any way and it is not loos at all

If you do weights wear them working out or if you go running. Wear them around the house when doing your chores and in pickup games. They'll be loose and comfy really quick.

I have the top bicep and forearm straps as tight as they will go and the elbow strap almost as tight as it goes. If I didn't strap it down, it would slide right off.

that would be because you have scrawny/tinny arms

maybe you should consider working out just an idea or get smaller elbow pads  :P

that's a great idea thanks a lot

i will defiantly do that

no i will probably get easton or RBK

RBK is Jofa, so I wouldn't suggest cutting the middle strap on those. I have the 9ks and the middle strap is the most important to me.

yes to you and not to me (i will cut it off)
