Classic looking ONE90s

I was coaching with another guy the other day and noticed his ONE90's were very different to mine. Instead of a dark grey, his outter shell was a dull brown, with his lightspeed holders a black colour as well. They have the TUUK writing and graphics on it as standard so definately not a dye job. They look fantastic, especially next to my clear blue version (aka off the shelf) <_<

My question is are they SMU or Custom skates?

So he may have just bought one of those pairs from Ebay with the black holders and had a production run issue? They are fairly new. He has played Juniors in Canada somewhere.

I saw on the Bauer website a while back you could enter to win a pair of "throwback" skates designed to look more like and old style skate but with all the new technology - this might be what you are talking about - some NHLer in the contest also signed them and I think he uses them.
