Easton Stealths @ Sportchek

Hey guys, i tried searching and no topic on this, but i was just wondering if the easton stealths @ sportchek are legit, and i'm talking about the ones that have the graphic that fades from black to silver, (ones without CNT?) and they're going for 130$ CDN so i was wondering if that's a good deal or not.

yea so did i, there just the 1st gen stealths. i noticed that the one i went to here i calgary had a couple of them that were cnt painted to look like the 1st gen ( i could tell by the reinforced corners of teh shaft that the cnts have).

I think they're all fake (from what I've seen so far).

Some of them are way heavy and others are even Stealth CNT

Yeah, it's a good price, especially if they have warranty. They are still a great great stick.

I saw some at National just a week or two ago for $249.99 or something laughable.

IF anyone could find me a right handed 65 flex I would be very appreciative. PM me if you live near one of these stores. There would be a little extra cash for someone who can pick one up for me.

I'll almost guarantee there is nothing close to a 65 flex, they are most likely pro returns.

I was at the 8 rinks pro shop in Burnaby, BC. They had a pro stock 1st gen stealth on sale for 299$. Regular price was 499$. :lol:

Most are legit retail models, while some are overstock Pro Stocks.

I just picked up a sakic retail stealth. Its LIGHT and has warranty. looks legit to me.

If you break it within warranty, what do they give you in replacement?

i've never had a stick broken through warranty, but from what i heard from my friends experience they try to send you the exact same stick, although i've had some friends get different curves or flexes, its almost as if they send what is available.

The ones I've seen seem to have a thicker blade than the original Stealths did and that has scared me away from grabbing one to this point.

Easton probably won't sent you an '05 Stealth, nor will they send you an S17. There's a good chance you'll get a CNT, though.

Pretty much gaurantee those sticks at National go on sale for 99 in a week or so.
