s9 easton helmets

Recommended Posts

I've had my S9 for about 2+ months, 9500 for over a month.

I like the S9 much more, it's definitely more comfortable for me and no sweat in the eyes like with the 9500.

I agree TBL, the fit of the S9 is Awesome!

Try one on.

That would be a viable option IF when they do hit stores my LHS would get them in to try one on. My LHS isn't going to carry these so that's not really of any help, but thanks.

Not everyone lives in a hockey equipment minded market to be able to try everything on.

The Mac isn't stocking them? Thats a mistake because we got them in on tues and sold one a day since then.

If you are coming down to indianapolis, drop me a message

I actually might be down in Indy next weekend, if so, I'll definitely have to stop in and check them out/pick one up.

And to be honest, I'm not really sure about "The Mac" not carrying them. Last time I talked to the LHS owner he wasn't really big on the Easton helmet line. Not 100% sure, haven't had the chance to find out yet.

I picked up an S-17 in August and so far so good. Been considering the S-9 for the boy because he loves Easton stuff. I tried one on myself last weekend at my LHS and was pleasently surprised how comfortable it is. If I hadn't already used my S-17 a few times already I would probably have saved myself a few bucks and taken back the 17 and purchased the S-9 instead. Both are extremely comfortable and have great air circulation though so no complaints from this guy.

how do i hook up a cage to the S17??

there are no rear clips placements

they should be included with the cage. The back screws can be exchanged for the buttons.

I'm using the CCM/Jofa FM 480 chrome cage on my S-17 and the fit is very good. One of the best cages on the market and also very inexpensive and light.

I bought my son an S9 as previously stated, and I bought myself one for coaching, as they were only $59. I put my cage in and used it in a game just for fun, and must say it is as comfortable if not more comfortable than my Mission Intake at almost twice the price.

Used my s9 for the first time today. Love it. If I had $200 to only spend on a new helmet, I wouldnt get the 9500, s17, intake, etc. I would buy 3 s9's.

Perfect fit for me, very comfortable dual VN. Light and decent ventilation. Looks great too. Great helmet.....maybe the best out there right now? For sure it is the best bang for your buck, hands down.

My lhs just ordered my 5 year old th s9 helmet in XS. We want to get him the easton cage as well, does anyone know if the small will fit? The kid at the shop wasn't really sure so I just want to be safe before having him order one in for us. Thanks in advance guys.
