I never played golf before, let alone watch the sport either.

I guess I didn't really understand what really happened from reading the article. So what you are trying to say is he tried to get out of a moving vehicle and his foot got caught in between the accelarator and stop pedal ?

That was bad too. Someone burned themselves tanning but I forget who it was. That may take the cake, but Boggs was putting on cowboy boots. He is still the the most rugged 3B they've had in the last 20 years.

Yikes...I thought this would be very minor, he wouldn't miss much time and it would be a funny anecdote by about week 2 of the season. That's not funny at all.

jeez that some serious injuries for what appears to be a very minor incident! it shows it doesnt matter how many physical sports you play, something minor is just as likely to injure you!
