Not sure if it is serious, but in the Detroit SJ game...

Detroit's Marian Hossa scored the first goal of the game, but the team held him out of the third period for precautionary reasons because he had concussion-like symptoms.

That was a really cheap shot too. Murray should have been suspended for that one.

Not familiar with who's who on SJ...If #3 doesn't hit him in the back...there is nothing wrong with the hit #23 is about to throw.

I was watching, I don't think there was any dirty intentions here at all on either part. The original hit was "borderline" just because it was a little more from the back rather than the side (but not really call-able), the hit from Clowe didn't look like a cheap shot to me either, Hossa just got knocked into the worst place at the worst time. Seeing him go back to the room scared me though. Between that and him actually fighting over the weekend I think he's given me two heart attacks.

No issue with Clowe but there is no reason for anyone to be throwing a forearm/elbow above the name plate. Murray should have been suspended for headhunting.

I didn't see the video link, yeah now that I see it again he did get his elbows up way above the numbers. In my head I remembered Hossa having his head down a bit but you're right Murray had his elbows way up.

nobody has a clue what the injury is to smith. they still have to "pinpoint" what is wrong with him.
