CCM V10's have got pop like no other. You can pick up the 2-piece (if you're willing to try) shaft for only $79.99 online. The snap on mine is great.

Have you tried both the OPS and the shaft? Wonder which one kicks more. What blade do you have on there?

I have a Vapor XXXX 87/P92 OPS and an Elite 85/Sakic 2PS and I think I get more feel from the 2PS than the OPS (probably comparing red apples to green apples). I would just try a Shaft/Blade combo and see if that works better for you. I had a few people tell me that they prefer a 2PS because they get a better feel without a significant change in their shot.

The only way a two piece will give you better feel is if you use a wood blade or a blade from a manufacturer that has a feel that you prefer. That's not to say the OPS is better, just that they will be the same if you use the same blade and shaft in the two piece as the OPS.

U+ shoots better, IMO.

After using the SE in an 85 Drury, then trying a XXXX in 87 P91A, I can say that the SE, for me, had the vapor beat in almost every department. I have an SE shaft with a Mission VDS blade that is really top notch now, though I don't know if you can still get the blade.

I'm still contemplating selling the Vapor, it's just sitting around and probably won't ever be used again, but the collection likes having it around :P

Those U+ sticks do feel very whippy for their flex.

I might be way off base, but I thought the shaft gave you the "pop" and the blade gave you the "feel". Maybe you could try an Easton or Warrior tapered shaft with a Vapor tapered blade?

I have an 8.0 Recchi blade. Haven't tried the OPS but the shaft is only running $79.99 so I figured that was the economic decision. Plus you can put a NBH blade in there that matches your exact pattern preference. Feels great, I think its something to do with the fact that it is a 2-piece, I think they're much more feel friendly than OPSs.

How whippy are we talking here? Like a Mid (75) feels like a 65? I was looking to get a Mid based on the MSH CCM flex rating of 80, but if it's like a 70 or even less this is not going to work for me, and I should go Regular Flex.

I had the One95 since it came out, just broke a week ago. Obviously mine was a tank, and i'm pretty tough on my sticks, so durability was great, and it was the best stick i've used to date (Feel wise). Hope This Helps!

+2 for the One95. Im using a 77 flex. LOVE IT. Tons of feel, harder shot than the XXXX. Played with Eastons for years and just switched to Bauer. I have more feel than I have ever had before.
