Kor Shift 1 sizing

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to find more info on how the Kor Shift 1 sizing compares to other manufacturers.

All I found was this closed thread:

http://www.modsquadhockey.com/forums/index...ic=42383&hl

Inside that thread there's a broken link.

Can anybody help me here? (Chadd?)

Thanks!

edit: Btw, I've been reading/hearing conflicting things about the sizing:

1) same as other skates

2) 1/2 size up from Bauers (maybe this is only true for the Shift 2's?)

3) true to shoe size, maybe 1/2 size down

I wear a size 9 1/2 or 10 street shoe/ athletic shoe, mostly 10. I could cram my foot in a size 8 1/2 sneaker, but it would be a very tight fit.

I wear a size 8 Easton S7, doesn't quite feather the toe cap like it should on shorter (by about 1/3 inch) right foot

Size 8 Rbk 5K I had did slightly feather the toecap on right foot

And now your payoff !!

Size 8 1/2 Kor Shift1 - perfect performance fit on right foot, feathers until I bend knees. Left foot boarder line too tight. Left toe not bent but very firm against the toecap/toe sock.

I'm a size 10 shoe. I was 8.5 in Bauer and a 9 in Kor Shift 1. So a size down from your shoe and a 1/2 size up from Bauer if you were properly sized for your previous skates.

Mine fit perfect and I've had them for 2 years.

I have Kor Shift 2's, but I think they may be too small. Does anyone know what the difference between a 9.0 and 9.5 is?

I currently have a 9.0 size, but my toe is still pressing against the toe cap, even after baking. There is also a strange pressure point on the top of my foot.

How much more room will a half size give me? Will it relieve any pressure off the top of my foot? I'm not sure if I should bump up to 9.5 or 10.
