One70 Shins

Recommended Posts

So I got my One70 shins the other day and finally got to wear them last night. I came across a little problem, the flap on the top of the knee cap keeps catching on my pants and it's annoying as all hell! Anyone have to deal with or have a way to remedy this?

this happens to me sometimes, just depends on the positioning. check to see if they in the right place. if you cant move them up higher and still cover your shins completely then they're too short.

Wear socks?

People do cut that flap off, too. It's there to link protection between the pant and shin, but if you feel it's not needed then hack the sucker off.

I had the same problem when I bought new shins, eventually it will go away. That top flap just needs to break in. Try taping it down for time being.

I tucked that flap behind the liner in the knee cap area on the One90 shins. It made the knee cap area slighter bigger. Eventually, the pads started to break in and it doesn't bother me in it's proper position anymore.

i just got these as well about 2 weeks ago....was definitely a little noticeable, but does not remain a problem after the 2nd or 3rd use....

actually, i got the shinnies, elbows and shoulder pads in Supreme 70, and they've been GREAT!....plenty of protection, and the maneuverability with the shoulders and elbows are WORLDS better than the Supreme 30 stuff i was using....

bought some myself this past weekend and they slid down a bit the first time wearing them, but I like them a whole lot better than my old 3K's that cut off the circulation to the bottom of my leg :D

Thanks guys. I was almost thinking about cutting the sides of the flap to give it some better maneuverability, but I guess I'll try and tough it out for a few more games.

Other than this damn flap, I have no complaints on the pads themselves. They fit and feel excellent...
