Pledge on Visors?

I was sitting in the locker room and saw one of the guys use pledge on his visor to clean it. Anyone heard of this and or tried it? Will it ruin the visor?

Both can and will damage an oakley visor. I've seen it happen before.

Ok that is what I thought I will just stick with the visor cleaner

I use pledge on my straight cut oakley visor, and no problem!

It's used more as an anti fogger than a cleaner. I dont like it as if it gets wet, it gets funky seeing through it. Good old shampoo buffed on works best for me.

I play Russian roulette every morning and I'm still alive. Use it on an Oakley visor and it will cause problems eventually. Guaranteed.

I use Itech DX100 and have never needed to put anything on the visor. Just use a soft cloth to buff out the sweat marks before a game. I also use the Under Armour head band thingy. Never had a problem with sweat or fogging again.
