Anyone bought a winnwell g500 from hockeyworld lately?

They're $40 now, so well worth picking up if the Vapor XXX. The last posts on the subject are from around Feb., and at least one guy said what he got was definitely NOT a Vapor XXX. Has anyone gotten one lately? Was it a XXX or something else?

I can't answer your questions specifically but if you are actually at the store (not buying online) pull out the end plug and read the code inside the shaft. I believe the G500's were either Vapor XXX or Inno True1

well if thoes are the only two possabilities then id say you cant go wrong either way

I've been in contact with them recently, I was going to buy several until I convinced myself that I dont need them. They went to the warehouse for me to check what was written inside the end cap and it was 'V30', which was nice of him :)

Scratching my head a bit about some of the curves. NL I assume is Lidstrom, but what about TL and MH? Letowski? Handzus?

Ignore the Winwell name and be weary about the patterns, some even labeled the same might be slightly different from each other. The sticks are just painted overruns/2nds from before Warrior bought Innovative. I used 2 of these (one last season and one the year before) they are decent sticks certainly and you can't go wrong for the price. (if you are a lefty of course)

I pulled the plug out and it had some numbers

It looked like it said v something but I couldn't really read it

It has a taper and feels similar to my old VXXX
