ambro 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 Never tried Dominoes thin crust. I might give it a whirl soon. Also, I'd like to not say anything about Papa John's, but that shit is just disgusting. Worst take-out pizza I've had in my live. They started one here in the old Little Caesars place when they left and it lasted like 3 months.
Chadd 916 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 Must have been a bad organization, they're kicking ass around here. Littel dump down the street has some excellent pizza too.
JR Boucicaut 3803 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 The Papa John's garlic sauce is awesome...I used to soak my pizza in that stuff...
foppa21 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 you dont know good pizza until you have been to nyc, sorry. I gotta disagree. You truly don't know good pizza until you've sampled it in Florence.
Kobe 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 You guys have Pizza Hut down in the states right? That place is the bomb. They line the bottom of their pan pizzas with butter so it makes the pie all crispy. It's greasy as hell but damn is it gooooooooooooooood.
foppa21 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 That grease does a better job than any amount of fiber in your diet. One trip to Pizza Hut a week and anyone could stay regular.
NashvillePreds 1 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 Back in the day they used to have a Little Caesar's near me in Nashville. Now I think you have to go to K Mart in order to get any. Down in the south Krystals are king, we used to have one in Charlotte, but it went out of business...I think there is a White Castle down in the ghetto of Nashville. None here. headonaswivel 1 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 The best slice one will ever have is straight from the boot with real Mozzarella, baked in a real forno. But sadly most people think of greasy North American 'za as all that exists.I am going to have to agree with my man Chadd. Papa's makes incredible pie. They put one in my appartment building before I left Edmonton. Best, most fresh tasting I have ever had. It certainly contributed to a lot of the girls freshman 15 on campus. kosydar 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 I'm fortunate enough to have five or six really good local places in town. Out of the national chains, I'll go with Papa Johns.
mik3 1 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 once you leave the ny/nj/parts of PA areas, it's not pizza anymore, it's weird italian pie.
Shorthanded67 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 I'll have to throw my vote in for Imos "St. Louis-style" thin crust pizza. Hopefully Lego can back me up on this. Little Caesars is scarce around here too nowdays. The only one I know of is located in the back of a KMart store. No stranger site than carrying pizzas through the store to get to the exit.... Fire0nIce228 1 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 I like Cici's pizza. I first ate at one in Georiga and have been hooked ever since. They moved one up here about 5 minutes from my house in PA, what luck. 3.99 for all you can eat pizza buffet, and 1.19 for all you can drink fountain drinks. They make all sorts of special pizza's too, like BBQ pizza and ham and pinapple and jalepeno pepperoni and taco pizza and mmmm, i almost slobbered on the keyboard! Thockey17 1 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 Not to mention Hungry Howies. Ahaha hungry howies. Had my first taste of them in florida. It was wacky wednesday or something like that and the pies were like $3 each. I seriously ate like 3pies. Then i went jet-skiing and got a sudden urge to upchuck. Not the nicest scene. Im giving the best pizza in NY to Umberto's in my hometown. Their brick oven pizza is incredible. They'll cook it right in front of you on the brick oven.JR, next time you're on the island, stop by there. Its not too far from you're hometown. Then you can have some amazing pizza, and chill with me B)

We were around the Old Bethpage area. Anywhere near you? He lived in Hempstead. I have no idea what part, but i probably have a good idea if i was told.Skatesafe is pretty close to SportTime(the new Snipers home rink) There about 3miles away from eachother. Sporttime is on hempstead turnpike which is seriosuly right down the road from where his town is, hence the name of the street :) I'd say its about 20minutes from bethpage to hempstead if you dont hit all the damn traffic lights It usually takes me about 30minutes to get to sporttime(my home rink) on a good day, so its not that bad of a trip.if you take hempstead turnpike all the way down to Belmont racetrack and make the right turn, Belmont is literally in my backyard So its not too far from Bethpage/Hempstead
JR Boucicaut 3803 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 My whole family pretty much lives in Hempstead. All within a mile of each other, all of them right offf Hempstead Tpke/Fulton Av.
Dangles 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 White Castle is really? I thought it was just part of Harold and Kumar? In the states, do you guys have Panago? It's the olny pizza joint within 120 km's around here.
kovalchuk71 212 Report post Posted September 7, 2004 Nope, White Castle is all real and has been around for like 100 years now....I think ive heard of Panago but not sure....I think of fandango (the movie thing) :)

I guess I just have wierd taste for pizza. Everyone loves Pizza Hut around here, except me. I dunno why. Which reminds me, has anyone else got a Pizza Hut Italian Bistro in their town yet? I heard they were converting every Pizza Hut to a Pizza Hut Italian Bistro, which is the same but looks like a bank and I think is merged with another restaurant so there is more items on the menu. They just put one in here.
SLy MaLLone 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2004 For my money it doesn't get much better than the pizza hut buffet. Pay like $6 and eat as much as you can. Only thing is that you have to beat all the people running to get the fresh stuff when it comes out.

SLy MaLLone 0 Report post Posted September 8, 2004 My school is in a prime location for fast food, we have a Wendy's, Taco Bell/Long John Silvers, Pizza Hut, and Chinese Buffet all within walking distance. It's in a sketchy town so all the places are filled with weird middle aged people or college kids. The people I have to beat are usually overweight women with like 7 kids with them, once they get their hands on the food, it's all over. They will take the whole pie with them to their seats.
