JR Boucicaut 3802 Report post Posted September 8, 2004 I read somewhere the reason why pizza is so good in NY is because of the water. This place in Miami I used to go to used to import NY tap water.

HDragons73 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 NEW HAVEN, CT has the best pizza. All chains suck, IMO, and make me sick. I live in New Haven county and there's good pizza everywhere.

Eww.... Is that actually a good thing? Its true...I think NYC's water is top 5 in the country. Much of NY states water is great. But the pizza up North is the pits. Dang, I never thought that could be possible (NYC in the top 5). Then again i might be thinking of Jersey  , having lived there and all.

From thin to stuffed, there is so much good pizza to be had here. Giordano's, Gino's East, Lou Malnati's, Uno's & Due's, etc.. There is no excuse to eat Domino's! That said, I must admit that I do enjoy a hand tossed, Meat Lover's pizza every so often.
JR Boucicaut 3802 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 LOL wait maybe I meant calcium. Oops. The water in the city is milky out of the tap. You have to wait for it to settle. It's like ordering a Guinness.

JR Boucicaut 3802 Report post Posted September 10, 2004 Okay, I went looking for a Little Caesars today - apparently there is one 10 min from my house. I'm very disappointed - definitely not the Little Caesars of old. I guess the Tigers aren't the only thing that Ilitch has been neglecting over the past few years.
