Chadd 916 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 The oakley stuff works well for me, but I use Oakley visors.
chippa13 1844 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 The oakley stuff works well for me, but I use Oakley visors. That is made specifically for Oakley shields which are designed to absorb water and drip it out the bottom. I don't think it would be good with Itech shields. Pats 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 I use Oakley spary on my Itech visor and it seems to be the best working of the ones i tried (Bauer, Itech, and some other no-name stuff I can't remember the name right now).
CBJ 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 I talked with a gentleman tonight who uses the oakley spray on his visor and he claims it is by far the best spray out there. I wouldn't actually know as i don't wear a visor, but he really seemed to like it. Has anyone ever thought of, or tried putting that anti fog Rain X on their visor? I always thought that might work really well. I know it works great on car windshields and mirros.....just a thought.

Racer8 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Oakley spray for me all the way. I use an Itech pro wave visor. I have thought of using rain-x before and it says on the product warning label not to use it with plastic. Someone could be braver than me and tell us how it goes. tokes 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 RainX will discolor plastic, I wouldn't use that on your visor.

JR Boucicaut 3810 Report post Posted September 11, 2004 Keep in mind that the higher the shield is cut above the nose, the less it will fog. If it is on your nose, when you breathe out, it hits the shield and goes up. If it is higher-cut, it flows right out.
RadioGaGa 162 Report post Posted September 11, 2004 Keep in mind that the higher the shield is cut above the nose, the less it will fog. If it is on your nose, when you breathe out, it hits the shield and goes up. If it is higher-cut, it flows right out. I like the way Bryan Berard wears his. Mind you, after his accident I think he has to for insurance reasons. It sits about half an inch off his nose (maybe closer) and comes down below his nose. Now that's protection.I think alot of guys instead of wearing a cut out one, wear the really thin ones and then tilt them way out (liek this \). That can't be doing any good as far as protection goes, bu tI bet they don't fog up...Back to the point of the thread...I think I'm going to try Oakley spray on my Leader...I'll let youknow how it works...I've got huge fog problems. Kovy_Ribs_Fedo 3 Report post Posted September 11, 2004 I have both Itech and Oakley spay and I think the Oakley is better. I never used Oakley on Itech or Itech on Oakley, but Oakley works better for me. But like JR said, the higher the shield is cut above the nose, the less it will fog. If it is higher-cut, it flows right out.
