I have not seen in yet but I am curious as what is different from the nipple grip or soft grip?

maybe it is the polar fibre grip from the pro stock gear put onto retail and given a bit of warrior style advertising.

It's not like the polar fibre grip..not as rough...it reminds me of the soft touch finish on the Mission Fuel Ti Pro.

It feels exactly like it is described as, crushed velvet. It will probably play like polarfibre but it's not the same.

Just held one moments ago at my LHS (Great Skate). Feels almost identical to the soft touch grip on the Mission Titanium OPS.

Soft. It does not have a sand-paper feel like the polar fibre. When it boils down to it, it only matters what it feels like when you're using it with gloves on. I haven't tested it out yet, so I can't comment on it as of yet.

i havent held this stick, but from what i hear the grip is similar to Mission's soft touch grip. The best way i can think of to describe that grip is a matte finish, not slippery but not tacky either, sort of right in the middle, a lot like a harrow lacrosse shaft or non-glossy paint

i got one of these as a replacement for a warrior johnson. overall i thought it was a great shaft but the only negitive i had with the stick is how easily the graphics peel of when taped over
