The Nike Bauer (now Bauer - Thanks Chippa),Easton websites have been updated. ANn the Mission and Itech websites now direct you to Bauer.

Comparing the two I'd have say Bauer's feels a lot more like they are promoting the mindset of hockey, easton is just promoting their gear. Think Bauer has way better videos too.

True, but if you can find a comp that runs it they have a wicked tool that has a bunch of photos your can fly through to see changes over the years. Pretty fancy stuff. Funny to see that they're on twitter lol.

Interestingly on the Bauer site, all of the gear links end up at the old site. Not terribly surprising but I thought that they may try to remodel that as well. It opens a new window with the old NikeBauer site.

I was disappointed by the Easton site. It's just a prettier version of the old site and is still pretty useless in terms of info (such as shots of blade patterns and the like). I guess they feel like they are so iconic that they don't need to provide any real substance :P

I must admit that the pages easton has on their athletes has its positives, like the so-called "Edge" each player's equipment gives them in play. None the less, Bauer's site is far more useful undoubtably.
